The unspoilt charm of Dulverton sits comfortably in a wooded valley on the River Barle just 2 miles away. It's a bustling historic town full of character with interesting shops, galleries, antiquities and inviting tea rooms, pubs and restaurants.
There are many other picturesque places to visit including the medieval town of Dunster, the ancient clapper bridge at Tarr Steps and the coastal villages of Lynton & Lynmouth linked by an ingenious cliff railway. Magnificent country estates with stunning houses and beautiful gardens include Knightshayes Court, Killerton and Hestercombe.
